Kristen Colvin is Partner within NEPC’s Defined Contribution Practice. Kristen returned to NEPC in 2018, having previously worked at the firm from 2005 to 2011. Kristen specializes in consulting to defined contribution plans and works with clients on plan design and investment policy development, investment manager research and selection, fiduciary governance responsibilities and various technical projects. Kristen is a frequent speaker at industry conferences, where she is generally asked to discuss trends in the defined contribution space.
Kristen’s investment experience dates back to 2005. Prior to rejoining NEPC’s investment consulting practice, Kristen worked in Consultant Relations and Investment Solutions roles at MFS Investment Management.
Kristen graduated with a Master of Science degree in investment management from Boston University and earned a bachelor's degree in economics from the College of the Holy Cross. She holds the Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA) Association designation.
