Frequently Asked Questions:

What is the Plan Sponsor Institute (PSI) Travel Reimbursement Program (TRP) for?
We have heard from some of our PSI members that they want to attend DCIIA’s three Forum events – the Innovation Forum, the Public Policy Forum and the Academic Forum – to benefit from the educational opportunities these events provide. However, we understand that many plan sponsors have no or minimal access to travel budget to attend these events. Therefore, the PSI Executive Committee, working with DCIIA, now can offer PSI members reimbursement for certain travel costs associated with attending these events.

Who is eligible for the PSI TRP?
Your company must be a member of the PSI and any person applying for the TRP must be in a plan sponsor role. A plan sponsor role may be part of the HR, Finance or Legal departments or may be a member of a fiduciary committee responsible for the company’s defined contribution plan.

What travel costs can be reimbursed through the TRP?
This program provides for reimbursement of round-trip economy transportation (flights, train, etc.) within the United States as well as hotel rooms at the DCIIA preferred hotels for each event. DCIIA typically provides meals and snacks throughout the day at its events, but each TRP recipient will be responsible for any meal costs outside of the event. Also, each TRP recipient will be responsible for local transportation costs in the event city such as taxi, ride share, subway fares, etc. Members approved for travel reimbursement should make their own travel plans, retain all relevant receipts, and submit them via the expense report provided to info@dciia.org within 30 days after the event has concluded.
