Encourage and promote research, dialogue, education, thought leadership and best practices related to the design and implementation of effective defined contribution plan investment options, with a special focus on qualified default investment alternatives (QDIAs)
Develop practical “how-to” materials for plan sponsors
Educate public policy makers on investment-related matters
Create materials fostering the adoption of best practices by plan sponsors
Serve as a clearinghouse for case studies on implementing innovative solutions
Promote the cost-effectiveness and benefits of flexibility of institutional investment approaches often found in defined benefit plans
Provide technical support on investment issues for other DCIIA committees, especially in the areas of benchmarking, communications and public policy
