Today we sent members an update on our ongoing collaboration with the SPARK Institute as our organizations continue to focus on delivering member value in spite of the coronavirus pandemic and related restrictions on travel and in-person events.
We are excited to share some initial details around our next virtual member event, the DCIIA/SPARK Summer Public Policy Series. The program, and the virtual event platform we are putting together, will replicate to the best of our ability the event experience that we know our members value and expect at our respective Public Policy Forums.
The DCIIA/SPARK Summer Public Policy Series will take place every Wednesday starting on July 15th at 7:30 am PT / 10:30 am ET through August 19th. Our program agenda will include topics from both our Domestic Public Policy Forum and our Global Public Policy Forum.
Registration for our Summer Public Policy Series is free and open to all SPARK and DCIIA members. If you are a member of both DCIIA and SPARK, you only need to register once, via either organization's registration form. We invite you to preregister for the series by visiting our event page -- further details about each weekly session will follow, and you will have the opportunity to select which specific sessions you want to attend.
Participants in our Summer Public Policy Series will be able to sit in on a dozen general sessions, ask questions of the presenters, participate in live polls, and connect virtually with others in the event. We will also have the functionality to offer breakout sessions, replays of recorded sessions, and an exhibitor hall. We hope you'll save the dates and preregister and encourage your colleagues to do so as well.
